KATHY A. BURCH, M.A., C.R.C., C.V.E.      
Director of Vocational Services

As the head of RSG's Vocational Department, Kathy would be pleased to discuss with you any vocational services you may need. Kathy has 20+ years of experience in vocational rehabilitation and joined the RSG staff in December 2000 as a vocational counselor/evaluator. She is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and Certified Vocational Evaluator with a Master of Arts in Rehabilitation Counseling from Southern Illinois University. Prior to joining RSG, she worked for Sandy's Consulting Services handling Arizona, Alaska, Washington and U.S. Department of Labor workers' compensation cases and LTD cases and providing vocational evaluations. Kathy also has experience in head injury rehabilitation, having worked for Hope Center for Head Injury, NeuroCare, Community Rehabilitation Services and Rehab Without Walls. She is currently certified by the U.S. Department of Labor to provide rehabilitation services to injured federal workers.

KATHY ATHA, M.S., C.V.E., L.P.C.

Kathy has over 19 years of experience as a vocational counselor and evaluator. Prior to coming to RSG, she worked for Vocational Diagnostics Inc., Crawford Health & Rehabilitation in Phoenix and Labor Market Consulting Services in Tucson. She is fluent in American Sign Language. She has worked with a wide range of referred cases in the private insurance field in addition to Arizona workers' compensation, including California and Washington state workers' compensation, LTD cases, and other insurance-related legal work. Kathy also has experience preparing earning capacity evaluations in personal injury cases. She has provided services to Arizona Department of Vocational Rehabilitation clients and Social Security Administration applicants.

KYLENE R. SKJEI, M.S., C.V.E., C.R.C. 

Kylene joined RSG's staff as a vocational evaluator in June 2005. She is a recent graduate of the University of Wisconsin Stout with a master's degree in Vocational Rehabilitation. Kylene has done an internship at the Minnesota Resource Center in Minneapolis, with her practicum at Stout Vocational Rehabilitation Institute in Menomonie, Wisconsin and at North High School in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. She has been employed as a job developer and coach as well as a care worker with the disabled population.
